I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. (Deut 30:19 KJV)
God has given each of us the free gift of salvation through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. Whether or not we choose to accept this gift is up to us. However if we do not accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and completely turn from our sins we will face eternal damnation in HELL.
In the book of John Jesus answers Nicodemus..."Verily verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." (John 3:5-7)
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mar 16:16 KJV).
Then Peter said unto them Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38 KJV).
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and flower therof falleth away: But the WORD of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the WORD which by the Gospel is preached unto you. (1 Peter 1:23-25)
I pray that each of us will make the right choices necessary to leave behind our old sinful life and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour because we have read the WORD of God as written in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, let it enter into our hearts and change our lives. Father God please fill us with your SPIRIT so that we may have the knowledge and strength to be able to live our lives moment by moment walking in your Holy Presense. Amen.
